Cask ale in Washington DC
Hi all, I'm heading to DC for a week at the end of October and am really interested in anybody's tips for historic bars in Washington. I'm not interested in pricey and exclusive but any where that has some historic interest, longevity, interesting interior/architecture etc. Also, does anybody have any idea if any bars in the DC area sell cask ale? I found some earlier in the year in Atlanta and would love to find some in DC.

Here is the perfect list for you.

Don't count on architectural interest in most of these. The Tune Inn is old but is a dumpy dive bar, for example.
AS for cask ale, Bluejacket brewery in Navy Yard and Church Key around Logan Circle def. have it. I think Bluejacket is kind of cool looking.
I think City Tap House around Logan Circle has it also but not totally sure.
