Carlsbad at Christmas

We'll be in Carlsbad over Christmas and need some restaurant recommendations, especially for Christmas day. Casual would be good since we will have a 2-year-old (very well behaved one) with us. We love fish, Asian, Mexican, everything! We've found one restaurant, Neiman's, that is open on Christmas Day. Anyone know anything?

I know every restaurant in Carlsbad NM and Neiman's is not one of them. This must be Carlsbad, CA.

Yes, it is the one in California. I stupidly assumed that because I chose the California thingie everyone would know that. Thanks for the clarification. Still hoping for help!

Pollos Maria is a casual Mexican restaurant that serves dishes other than its signature chicken.

Ruby's at the end of the Oceanside pier is a classic coffee shop.

Claim Jumper has generously portioned meals (also in Oceanside)

There's always the Hotel Del if you're into old world-style hotels by the beach.

Thanks, all for your help. I was hoping for something reasonable and familial, but my niece-in-law (NIL?) is interested in the buffet at Four Seasons. It runs from noon - 6:00 and might be good for the wee one. I'm okay with that. I'll make note of the Oceanside ones for other evenings, as we all like Mexican, and regular, as well.

Marie Callenders is on the same lot as Claim Jumper on the Carlsbad/Oceanside border just west if I-5. I prefer it to Claim Jumper and I like Claim Jumper a lot.
