car travel from Boston - Michigan
We are traveling with a toddler by car for Christmas and we are looking for some fun activities en route to entertain ourselves and our little one (18 months)and dog. We are planning on staying over in Buffalo (about 1/2 way). If anyone lives either in New York or London, Ontario region and has any suggested places to visit, please respond asap Thanks!

While in London, Ontario, you might want to check out Storybook Gardens with your toddler. I have pictures of me being there as a kid and it sure looked neat. I am sitting next to Humpty Dumpty. {Seriously} Maybe I was too young that first visit to remember much???
I don't know what they offer in the winter, but it is a pretty unique place and might provide the perfect escape during your travels.
Happy Trails,
Paul

Paul: I have to disagree with you about Storybook Gardens. We took our family there 2 years ago and it was so run down, what a disappointment! It probably was great when you were a child, but they have not maintained it one bit. The water pools for the animals were filthy, the paint was peeling off of the cartoon characters. The only "new" item was a jungle gym play area, similar to what you find in any fast food restaurant. Very disappointing

Nicole - I would recommend that you drive 20 minutes past Buffalo to the Niagara Falls,Canada side of the Border... There are excellent holiday prices on room stays and Niagara Falls, Ontario has hired the Disney People for a Christmas Lights spectacular featuring the Electric Parade Characters... also nightly fireworks, a lighted Falls and a million lights in the falls area... There's also a performance stage, and dozens of tourist things you can do... The American side has nothing...sorry to say
