Car rental frenzy

Looking for the best deal for mid size car out of Miami airport for 16 days with no charge for spouse. We have membership with AAA, AARP, Entertainment Book, Costco. Please assist.

Go to Hertz.com and put in your AAA CDP code, along with rate code "LAST". This has gotten me fullsize vehicles for the price of a compact, three times in different cities, although haven't tried Miami...good luck. Your dates need to be within one month.

Look on mousesavers.com. It lists many discount codes for rental cars for Orlando, but they should work for Miami also. There is a link to join National's Emerald Club for free. This gives you an additional driver at no extra charge. Also, with Alamo the Entertainment coupon code gives you a free additional driver. Costco also has a coupon for Alamo for a free additional driver. Rentalcodes.com also lists several discount codes.
