Capital Hotel vs Peabody in Little Rock

Any opinions about the relative merits of these two hotels? I have a meeting and could stay at either. From the website the rooms at the Capital look bigger and the hotel is smaller but would love some input from anyone who has stayed at them.

Right across the street from each other. Stayed at one of them once, and one of them about a dozen times now. Guess which one is which?

The Capital = Classy hotel run by classy staff. The rooms are big. Five star restaurant. Bar right out of a hardboiled noir novel. Recently remodeled yet still historical.

The Peabody = Mistreated sickly looking flock of mallards that get paraded into a chlorinated indoor fountain once a day? Hick staff. That's all I care to remember.

It seems others agree with I Been Evrywhere Man. TripAdvisor rates The Capital #1 and the Peabody #10.

No contest whatsoever: The Capital Hotel wins by light-years.
