Hey all..trying to get some info together for our trip next July to CC. Bunch of us going and some want to do a whale watch. Can anyone make suggestions on whihch Whale Watch is best? I just looked at the Dolphin Tours website and it kinda looks like they really pack them in...

IMHO The Dolphin Fleet is the best.

We went in July with the Dolphin Fleet out of Provincetown. It was GREAT!! We saw so many whales and the crew was very informative.

I agree Dolphin Fleet is the way to go, Give them a call about best days and best time of day.... be straight up, tell them you want to see the whales and avoid crowds. Ptown is also a fun place to spend several hours. Enjoy

I can certainly help out on the dining front - what type of food do you like, are you thinking lunch or dinner. PT has everything from fried fish shacks to fine dining. Adults inly or kids too??

Yes indeed, do the Dolphin Tours Whale Watch! I have been on others in other places but both times on Dolphin we saw oooodles of whales - very exciting! As for a good place to eat, we keep on returning to Fanizzi's at 539 Commercial St., right on the water at the uncrowded end of Commercial St. (as if you are coming in from Truro). Reservations are needed for dinner; they do a nice Sunday brunch but my favorite is lunch - and do try those onion strings! Extensive menu and everything we have tried has been good.

I just had lunch at Fanizzi's yesterday ... pumpkin martini, sweet potato fries and a cod sandwich....life is still good!!!

There will be about 4 couples, no kids..most like seafood..we will be coming in on our Harleys, so we like low key places...I will look up Fanizzi's..keep the suggestions coming
