CAPE AIR or GULF STREAM AIRLINES
I hear it is a beautiful flight from FT. LAUDERDALE to KEY WEST. Does anyone have any suggestions about this? I plan on flying one way and driving the other. Is one airline any different or better than the other?
Thanks again!

my only suggestion would be to make sure you get a seat on the port (left side if looking from back of plane to the cockpit) if on the Ft.Lauderdale to Key West leg. if flying Key West to Ft Lauderdale get a seat on the starbord side. that way you will have the keys and u.s. 1 out of your window. if on the opposite side you will see the everglades and the gulf. depending on which way the wind is blowing will determine your approach / departure from Key West airport so your actual view of Key West is 'up in the air' (pun intended). you can always take the bi-plane ride over Key West once you are there. bring your camera but make sure you hang on to it.

I took the Continental Gulfstream flight back from EYW to FLL and sat on the port (left) side. The above post is correct, if you are going FROM Key West to FLL, sit on the starboard (Right) side of the plane, you'll see more. However, I had great views all around cuz nobody was in the seat opposite mine.
If you aren't flying round trip, be prepared to be searched in EYW. I decided at the last minute to fly home and had a hilarious search. I couldn't get over the fact that they picked me (little miss goody-two-shoes) out of the group and let "biker boy" go scott free!! LOL. Oh well, c'est la vie! At least the crew in Key West had a good sense of humor and by the time they started searching me, we had become so familiar that it became a joke and a mere formality.
HAVE FUN!!!
