One week in June. 4 adult-sized people and way too much luggage - I think the luggage is going to be the killer with car size.

Paved roads from Homer to Denali (and beyond) ... normal passenger car is fine.

We were three adult women and luggage, driving around Alaska for a week last June, and we upgraded our rental Ford Focus to an Escape. Much more room, much better.
