Hi, I am attending a meeting in Utah and will have a couple of evenings of down time in my hotel room. Is there any law prohibiting me from packing a fifth of vodka in my suitcase for my own use in my room?

There are limits as to what you can bring in, but I don't think you will be over it. Check out utah.gov for laws.

If you aren't a troll, our city is not THAT boring that you need to sit it your room and drink. We have lots of great restaurants and EVEN bars for that.

I don't think it is bootlegging until it is over a certain amount and I'm pretty sure a fifth would be under that amount.
