Most of the wineries in the Cambria area are around Paso Robles which is about a 20-minute drive on Hwy 46 (a beautiful drive btw). There is a winery on Hwy. 1 just south of Cambria in the tiny town of Harmony (population 18) called Harmony Cellars. Also in Cambria are 3 places where you can taste wine: Fermentations, Indigo Moon and one in the same building as Madelaine's Restaurant.
Should you decide to go over on Hwy 46, there are many wineries located on that road plus quite a few more if you go on Vineyard Drive. You can get more information online at www.pasowine.com

I thought Fermentations was a really great place filled with lots of yummy stuff to taste. Lots of olive oil, dips and chocolate in addition to the wines. We were there early in the day (10 am) so didn't do a full tasting. I did taste and buy some Tobin James Sparkling wine (only $12). Mmmm...

We also had a short time to do some tasting in Paso Robles area. We limited our tasting to the West side of Paso to cut down on drive time to Cambria. I liked Wild Coyotes tasting room and wines - reds only.

Hi xkenx

My 2 cents is that you can not get to Paso Robles in 20 minutes from Cambria.

There is a lot of good tasting out there if you want to travel a bit here is another link

Have Fun
