Calling Utahtea and other SW experts
I'm trying to figure out the logistics and am not sure what the best plan will be. I am flying into Phoenix (date flexible) and have reservations at the Grand Canyon North Rim on the 28th and need to be back in Phoenix on the 31st. What to do in between?
I wanted to get to Canyon de Chelly

oops! didn't mean to post -
CdeC and thought about spending the night in Holbrook at the Wigwam. The drive times between the North Rim and Chinle seem long. I've done Monument Valley, 4 Corners on to Durango before. Is the drive to Chinle from Page just as beautiful? If not, should I cut down from Page to Holbrook and then head back up to Chinle for a day trip?
Should I scratch CdeC for this trip and spend the intervening 2 nights elsewhere? I'll probably spend the night in Sedona on the way up after arriving in Phoenix.
I've seen a lot of the SW on previous trips, but haven't "done" the North Rim or CdeC before. Any suggestions on routes or other great things to see in addition to the North Rim?
Thanks for any and all input.

You will love the north rim. I would suggest you go from there to Flag or Sedona and do daytrips from there. Canyon de Chelly is wonderful, but it is so far from everything else, I think maybe you should skip it this time around.
