Hey ET!
If you are ever finding yourself
with a surplus of un-useable
baseball tickets again
and Marilyn can't use them, can I
be next on your list ?

Hey, R5!

I'm full up tonight. Got enough people who want to freeze their butts off at that glorious park!

I've got two more for tomorrow night at Pac Bell - aka SBC Park. Cinci Reds vs THE GIANTS! Are you really interested?

Bring winter jackets. It was freezing Sunday night. I also like to bring HEALTHY FOOD. Just looking at all that cotton candy, greasy french fries, beer, hot dogs - makes me fat!

Lemme know, wilya? Be pleased to meet ya!

Let me ring a jingle to Mr.R5.
(A TRUE baseball fan-atic!!!)
We are semi-frequent Giants goers.
Had excellent seats last Fri.
for St. Louis. Yes, it is amazing at the faithful who bring out their winter gear in August! I have a pre-packed back pack with gloves, hat, lined jacket and blanket.
e-mail me at
[email protected]
and let me know $$ and location-
It would be grand to meet up with you!

Well what do you know? Now I feel that this thread has been of some use! R5, you can buy me a glass of red in Yountville in November for being a middleman.

What about the rest of us who kept this thread going until you told, Marilyn? Guess R5 will just have to put some bottles of vinegar in a package to us!

Well then, Marilyn, many thanks!!!

Guess I better start a tab at the deli in Yountville!

I happen to have some "vinegar" shipping
packaging out in the garage for you, iceeu2-unfortunetly the shipping can sometimes cost more than the "vinegar"
Can't you just join us in Yountville?

I'll be delighted to buy a glass of red for anyone who chooses to join us in Yountville for the day-after-Thanksgiving GTG.

annesherrod:Yountville is in Napa County,CA. Kal (who usually lives in
the state of Confusion) organized a GTG
the day after T'Giving last year-there was Tree Lighting festival with booths
and a wine tasting tent (guess where WE were)

We had a great time and will prob
do it again in 2004.
Everyone is welcome and it's a neat
time to be in the Napa Valley!

That sounds wonderful, now if only I can win that Napa week sweepstakes.

That's Emperor Kal, King of all Confusion!

The more the merrier in Yountville!

I wonder if the gal at Cucina had her baby. I believe "Kal" or "Kalina" was suggested but I can't recall by whom?

Yippeeee..does this mean the day after Thanksgiving GTG is on? We'll be there unless the wicked hospital mandates otherwise!

It does sound like a great time unless...on the flight over there is a scruffy band of musicians with bladder problems...or all the giant alligators from Sanibel have been shipped to Napa Valley...or a giant swarm of mosquitoes is spreading West Nile disease. Oh my! I guess I'll just have to stay here smoking my ciggies, eating my transfat filled Eggos and driving around on the interstate in my SUV. Have fun without me.

My apologies, Marilyn! Me bad! It seems like this thread has taken on a life of its own!

Thanksgiving can't come soon enough!

Once in a while I do get a free ticket(s) to the Giants game. If there is anyone else who is interested, please let me know at

[email protected]

I'll put you on my list. This happens about 4 or 5 times each season, so it's a rare occasion, but the tickets are available!

The ticket(s) could be free, depending on who paid for it!

BTW, that was one FANTASTIC game last night!!! Giants won, 11 to 0. At one point there were three home runs in a row: JT Snow, B. Bonds, and Feliz - bang, bang, boom! Never seen that before! Bonds had also earlier hit a three run homerun. The next time he came to bat, the pitcher walked him - and all the rubber chickens came out (mine included!), so the Reds pitched to him again the next time he was at bat and he hit another home run! It was cold but beautiful! The fog ran little curlicues around the klieg lights - going back again to night!
