Calistoga, California

Suggestions on where to stay in Calistoga? Also, which hot springs/restaurants/vineyards to visit. Thanks.

Try Sterling Vineyards. Tram to top has great view of valley. Also try Clos Pegas which is across the street. Very different "artsy" and great caves. Wine is spectacular! It is not on the "tour" list but call the day before and I think they do tours every half hour 10-2. I'd skip the mud baths and go for just a massage at the hot springs.
