Mirage vs Treasure Island, Las Vegas

We will be in Las Vegas twice this summer and were thinking about staying at Treasure Island and then the Mirage. We've heard though that Treasure Island has the same number of rooms as the Mirage but only a fraction of the area, and therefore very congested. Any suggestions?

Well the only advice I can give you is what exactly are you looking for in a hotel-casino. The mirage is geared more towards adults, while the treasure island is geared to families. Check out www.lasvegastaxi.com/ its a great website on vegas I just found not too long ago. It gives great scoops on just about everything from the taxi drivers experiences. Have fun in vegas! remember to bring the spf 50 if your going in the summer!

We recently stayed at the mirage and really thought it was a beautiful place .It has a real "island" atmosphere. I agree that the Treasure Island is great if you are taking children ,if not you can easily get there by a tram that takes you from one to the other. The pool is nice,we found it great to take a break one day and do nothing but find the perfect spot onder one of the waterfalls and relax. I also like the fact that you can walk right out of the hotel on one side and take a short trip to caesers shopping mall. There are alot of great food places to try.

As adults the Mirage takes it as far as hotels go.
Treasure Island is a great place and better suited to kids.
