Calendar for Honolulu's "Sunset on the Beach"?
Hi! We're leaving for Hawaii on Wednesday
and one of the things we want to do in Oahu is go to Sunset on the Beach. Anyone know where I can find the movie schedule? The Honolulu website still has "TBD" on the calendar, but I thought maybe someone in HNL might have access to a better calendar. (Just wondering whether we'd rather go Saturday or Sunday, depending on what's showing!)
Counting the minutes....

You went to this site, right?
http://www4.honolulu.gov/webcalendar...?calendar_id=2
Nowadays, Sunset on the Beach is not always in Waikiki. The event moves around....for example, in September the event will be "Sunset in Waimanalo" and in October, "Sunset at Kualoa Ranch." At least, that's my understanding, don't quote me as the authority.

Thanks Melissa -- yep, this is the site I went to that has TBA listed for this weekend. (This weekend is a regular ol' Sunset on the Beach, at least according to that website.) I was just hoping the actual movies had been listed in the newspaper or something like that!

Melissa, I don't think Sunset moves around.
It's more like the other areas started their own once a year.
August 26,27 are on the schedule, but they are not too prompt in letting the public know what will be showing. It will be in this week's Mid Week and also Friday's Honolulu Advertiser, TGIF section.
Saturday, Sept 2 in Waikiki is going to be a preview of 2nd season of "Flight 29 Down". Usually when there are previews like this, some of the actors are there.
Sunday, Sept 3 in Waikiki is also on the schedule, but I don't know what is showing.
