Caesar's Pocono Palace?
I know it may be on the "cheesy" side, but the fact that it is only a few hours from our home (Monmouth Cty, NJ) and the fact that there are a lot of things to do there make it sound like a fun few days... Anyone out there go to this place? What do you think? We chose the Fantasy Apple room... is it nice? How are the grounds.... Maintained well?
(We wanted a place close to home for a few days while our sixteen year old son is away in Europe for a few weeks... I wanted to get away with the hubby for a few days to take my mind off of missing my son... Didn't want to go to a place with kids because I'd feel bad mine wasn't with me)!
Thanks All,
Lisa

a few yrs ago my huband and i spent 3 days there without our 3 boys... it was wonderful!! we stayed in the rooms with the champagne glasses and the indoor pool. yes, its kinda cheesy but thats what made it so much fun. we shopped at the outlet during the day we saw some pretty funny shows at night and met lots of interesting people.(there were lots of people there on their honeymoons) go and have a great time!
