Cactus League camping

A buddy and I are looking to spend a week in the Phoenix area in mid-March to catch some spring training baseball. It appears that the stadiums are grouped with five west of Phoenix and five east of Phoenix. The eastern stadiums are closer together. Any recommendations for camping near the Scottsdale/Mesa area? We're looking to rent a camper van which will double as our daily transportation (one of us will sleep in the camper and the other in a one-man tent), and we can cook our own food, etc. Having a little difficulty finding campgrounds in the area, so I'm looking for recommendations or alternative ideas. All hotels are ridiculously expensive during March, so we're looking to do this as cheaply as possible.

The Mesa Visitors Bureau lists three campgrounds. https://www.visitmesa.com/hotels/campgrounds/

I'm sure Glendale, Surprise etc have similar resources.
