Cab it to Sea World?
Hi.
I am going to be visiting San Antonio and am trying to avoid renting a car. We wanted to make a trip to Sea World and was trying to see what my options were for getting there.
I know there is a bus but that takes about an hour. Is it crazy to take a cab? Other ideas?!
Thanks - y'all (sorry)

Hi luciog70,
Call your hotel to find out what they recommend; contact a local taxi company to find out what they charge--maybe they have a flat rate or will negotiate a fee; contact a shuttle service.

We were there for a football game over New Years and rented a cab because we don't like to drive in unfamiliar cities. The cab driver arranged to pick us up later in the day and we exchanged cell phone numbers just in case something came up. Everything worked out fine.

Great idea, luciog, and it's a very easy drive from downtown. If you're in the mood for some really good Texas BBQ, Rudy's BBQ is just across the 151 freeway from Sea World. Very casual, picnic table seating.
