Cab into the city?

So I made it into Mays Landing fine. But the bustrips I had to take was not something I want to do again going back! I'm getting on the train tomorrow at Egg Harbor going into 30th station. But from there I need to get to the airport. Is it easy getting a cab outside and how much is it?

There's a train from 30th Street Station with limited stops right to the airport, so I'd probably do that. However, I can't imagine it would be difficult to find a taxi. I'm sorry, but I can't help you with the cost.

Could you explain a little better what you are talking about? Thanks.

Why not call a cab company in the town you are leaving from and ask them.

Last week OP had a series of posts dealing with travelling from Mays Landing (southern NJ) to NYC for a day trip but after reading scores of reponses telling her it was not a good idea but to go to Philadelphia instead. I gather she now wants to travel from the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia to the airport.

While I can't give her specifics since I've never made that exact trip I 'm sure she'll have no trouble finding a cab at the station. There is a "Flat Rate" of $28.50 for cab rides from anywhere in the downtown Philadelphia to the airport.

You'll have no problems finding a cab outside 30th Street Station. As RoamsAround states, it's a $28.50 flat rate to the airport.

If you don't mind moving about with your luggage, the train (actually a rail shuttle) is a great deal less expensive. I think I remember $2 +/-. If you are a senior it will be even less.
