For dinner, we like the Sow's Ear Cafe. The salmon in parchment paper and the country fried steak are the specialties.
I've also heard good things about the Black Cat and Bistro Sole. Robin's is also very nice. Enjoy Cambria!
If you like fresh seafood, the Sea Chest has a nice selection in a very casual atmosophere. No reservations or credit cards here tho. ***kim***

If you don't mind a hop down Sunset Blvd., why not go for a big steaming plate of Hollywood kitsch and head to Mel's Diner (a little west of the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood)? Or kvetching and eggs at Cantor's on Fairfax? Or Du-Par's at the Farmer's Market (also on Fairfax)?
None of these is a high-class joint, but the food is filling and yummy. Where will you be staying in Hollywood?
