Brunswick, GA area Hotel for business
I am planning a business trip that will take me to Brunswick, GA. From what I can see, I should be near some towns that are near the ocean/inlet. I'm looking for a hotel where I can see and maybe walk on the beach and have a nice dinner. I'm looking to spend $100-120 for the one night. Thanks for the help!

I usually stay at what is now called the Oceanside Inn and Suites. I just LOVE the location and the oceanview rooms. All but a few rooms have an ocean view. Nice grassy lawn between hotel and beach with sidewalk/bike path running in front of the hotel. It isn't the fanciest place to stay - but I do like it. I stayed there a couple of weeks ago and got a very well-worn room for the first time - but I was traveling with a pet. Don't know if that was the reason - I hope so. I'm not sure when you are planning to go, but my rate of $85 was far lower than the rate posted on tripadvisor.com. Next door is the Beachview Club and the reviews look good since it was renovated.
Across the street is the Quality Inn with good reviews as well. To get to the beach, you just cross the street and walk past the Oceanside.
Business trip? Drawback = no high speed internet access in the Oceanside rooms. The conference was at the Holiday Inn and they do have high speed.
Keep in mind that Jekyll is VERY quiet - which is what I love about it. If you want a bit more action, stay on St. Simon's. The Hampton Inn would be a good business hotel option. Not beachfront though.
Enjoy your trip. SeaJays and Zachary's are my favorite places to eat on Jekyll.
