Bremerton

Could anyone recommend a great restaurant in Bremerton Washington. Friends are moving there, and we wanted to get them a gift certificate to be used after their move.
Thanks

I don't know if you'll get any help with this post or not. If there's a restaurant in Bremerton that is worth recommending, it must be a hidden treasure. Case in point, check Bremerton restaurants in Trip Advisor and the local Sizzler chain restaurant comes up #1. Perhaps you could select one of the Seattle Waterfront restaurants, Elliot's or Anthony's for your gift certificate. Your friends can walk on the ferry in Bremerton and stroll the waterfront to dinner. Otherwise you might want to send them some Omaha steaks because if Sizzler is #1, they would be wise to eat in.

Like the other poster said, there isn't much in Bremerton or even Silverdale (the neighboring town). Poulsbo has a couple places, and it is pretty close. Seattle though would be a treat and it would give your friends a good excuse to get across the water and check out the area.

Absolutely. I never thought of that. I will do the Seattle thing for sure. They will love it. Both come from small towns. Here in Springfield OR and Bend OR. So that will be a nice treat.
Thanks.

Seattle restaurants are the best ones. The only one in Bremerton I would suggest is the Boatshed on the water near the Manette Bridge. I've had dinner there several times and it's always been very good.

Second the Boatshed. Good food, good view, friendly service.

Anthony's--a very good local seafood chain--has just opened a brand new restaurant on the waterfront in Bremerton...it is now THE place to eat in Bremerton.
