Breckenridge in the Summer
For reasons I won't go into, I don't have much time to plan for our trip to Breckenridge this summer. What would you suggest doing? We love the outdoors, hiking, biking, and walking around town. Don't want anything fancy and will probably cook in most nights (grocery suggestions?). Staying in a condo. Really just going so we can enjoy the great weather.
Also, have one extra day when we leave Breck and figure we might do Garden of the Gods on our way to the airport in Denver (very late flight out). Other suggestions would be welcomed.
Thank you!

For groceries there's a City Market at 400 N. Park Ave that should have everything you need. Pick up a preferred shopper card (free) and get discounts in store and at the adjacent Loaf & Jug gas station.
Go to Daylight Donuts (305 N. Main St.) for a "locals" breakfast, or.......
DONUTS!
especially the huge apple fritters

If you head south out of Breck to Garden of the Gods consider stopping at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. It's unusual and interesting.
