oyster card

we are a couple - can we share an oyster card - just swipe it twice for each journey? thanks

The card calculates fares based on you touching in, then later when you finish your journey, touching out. Two 'outs' in a row at the same departure point won't work.

If there are 2 of you,are you not considering the 2 for 1 offers that are available with paper travelcards bought at a National Rail station?
