Breakfast at Norma's

I was wondering if anyone has had breakfast at Norma's in the Le Parker Meridian? It has several good reviews and I was wondering if it has lived up to them.

We ate there a year ago, and it did indeed live up to its enthusiastic reviews. Many rate it the top breakfast place in the city. It is expensive, but we were so full we skipped lunch.

It was great and I would reommend it. Expensive for breakfast but thought it was worth it.

Our first visit to Norma's was for a pre-Nutcracker brunch. It convinced us that we only wanted to stay at LePM and have breakfast at Norma's every time we stayed overnight in NYC from then on. (And we have.)

We had a terrible experience at Norma's. We had reservations for 11 AM and they didn't seat us until 11:45. And when we finally ate the food was just so-so. The prices on the other hand were through the roof. However we did enjoy staying at the Parker Meridien Hotel. But we will not go back to the restaurant.

My husband and I loved it. We had to wait about 20 minutes and it is expensive but in my opinion worth it!The crepes were wonderful.

Norma's food is indeed good, but it's certainly overpriced and therefore a bit of a tourist trap.

For an amazing breakfast, try good on Greenwich in the West Village, or Sarabeth's on the Upper East Side.
