Boston Vacation Information

We are planning a vacation in the Boston area in October. Never been to the area before and need help with what we want to see or stay away from. We will be staying at a resort in South Lee in the Berkshires and plan on going to Boston several times. Any suggestions would be apprciated. Thanx, Glenn

Two words: Duck Tour. It's a blast. I hope for your sake it's still running in October (it's seasonal).

An amphibious vehicle takes you on a tour of Boston, including a ride in the Charles River. Purchase your tickets in advance on the Duck website (Yahoo search should find it).

Yikes, South Lee is in the far western part of the state, at least 2 hours from Boston. Why not just stay in the city itself for a night or two rather than dealing with all the time and hassle of all that driving?

Not a great plan to drive from Lee to Boston "several times" - traffic will further add to your trip time during the week. I would say to allow 3 hours for trip.
