Boston in 2-1/2 days?

Will be in Boston for a weekend and part of Monday late June. Would like recommendations on places to photograph, good tour companies and Cape Cod.

To be honest, you probably won't have enough time to enjoy both Boston and the cape. I'd stick to Boston if I were you. As for tour companies, there is a Grey Line Tour and the Duck Tours. Walk the Freedom Trail. Great places to take pictures along there. Have fun!

Thanks, Betsy! I'll be staying at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge and really don't want the hassle of a rental car. What might be a good way to get out to the Boston lighthouse?

There are cruises out of Boston Harbor that take you around the Harbor. They leave from near the Aquarium. Unfortunatly, I don't know the names of the cruise lines! You could take a day trip to the cape if you really wanted to see what it's like, but if I were you I'd stick to one destination. The MBTA (Public Trans) also has water taxi's, but I don't think they take you out to the light. (www.mbta.com) Check out www.boston.com for some more info. You're hotel is in a great location. Very close to the "T".

Go up to the top of the Prudential Center, a great observatory and information center.Great photo ops of the whole city. On a clear day, you can see the White Mountains!
