Boston area restaurants?

Looking for nice restaurant for dinner to meet old friends. Quiet conversation ability a must! Great food, ambience. West of Boston ideal, but willing to go into town. Thanks!

Go to Boston.com. This may help you narrow it down to where you want to go. I do prefer the north end if you are bringing friends in,a place called paglucias, but that may get noisy. Try a quiet place in the N. end. Also might help to know what kind of food you are looking for.

wide open re: cuisine. We're driving in from CT to meet our friends, so prefer a place that has easy parking, etc. That's why I mentioned west of Boston. Thanks again.

Il Capriccio in Waltham. Easy access from I-95/128. Excellent upscale Italian in a relaxed and cozy yet somewhat elegant atmosphere. Probably the best list of Italian wines in the Boston area. Not cheap, but worth it.
