I wouldn't do priceline in Revere there are some real dumps in there area, but maybe a 3.5 star in Peabody or Wakefield would be okay. I can recommend Beverly Garden Suites as a short drive from Logan yet out of next morning traffic.

I would also recommend staying right in Boston if you're going to be here two nights. You'll want to be at the airport at least an hour before your flight so you'll be going to the airport before 6 a.m.

As said above, Logan is very close to the city and it will take 15 minutes tops to get there at that hour. It seems as though all my Caribbean flights have me going to the airport between 5 and 6 a.m. and there are no traffic problems in that direction.

Thanks, all - this is really hugely helpful. I just booked the DoubleTree in Danvers on Hotwire for $109 all included on our arrival night, which is a steal compared to airport rates. I'll do some research on city hotels; I know my friend would be a stay-in-the-city girl, though I could go either way and be fine. Thanks again!

If you want to leave the airport and head north, to a hotel, at that hour I would go rte 1A north to eye 60 to rte 1N. Lots of hotels on rte 1. In the morning continue on rte 1 north and it will intersect with 95 in Peabody and again, about 10miles later in Topsfield. There are no hotels on 95 in that area, they are just off of it, but there are a lot of hotels ON rte 1 that make life just a bit easier then getting on and off the highway.besides, rte 1 in the Peabody are is a lot less busy in the morning than rte 95n in the Woburn or Wakefield area.

The Doubletree in Danvers is perfect!. It is right at the intersection of several roadways, including I95. I would use the directions on hotel website - plus following a GPS but that area can be a tiny bit confusing. It will make sense to you when you see it.
