Boston 2 days
Gonna be in Boston for the first time for 2 days, 2 nights. What are the top 10 things to do/see in that time period. My wife and I are staying at Marriot Harborside-airport.

This is what we did.
Friday: Kennedy Library and show.
Sat: Duck Tour first thing in the morning, go to Quincy Market ticket kiosk for reduced price tickets for Sat night show (we had already seen Blue Man Group)
Lunch in North End, this required wandering around reading menus. After lunch we went to the pastry shop for dessert. We had tried to arrange a tour of the North End but the lady who gives the tours was unavailable that weekend. It's something we would still like to do. Show Saturday night.
Some years we have gone to the Museum of Fine Art. I enjoy the IMAX movie at the Museum of Science. Check to see what's playing.

Here are 10 ideas in my humble opinion, I'm sure others will have different ideas-but always good to see what might pop up more than once. So, here goes:
1. Duck Tour-great overall tour of the city by amphibeous (sp?) vehicle. Goes on both street and Charles River
2. Freedom Trail-great walk
3. North End (also home of Paul Revere's residence and FT takes you right through)
4. Wonder the streets of Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Public Garden and the Commons
5. Museum of Fine Arts
6. Harbor Island Cruises
7. T out to Harvard Sq.
8. Walk the Esplanade along the Charles River
9. Kennedy Library
10. A show, Blue Man Group is great
You can't really do all of this in 2 days/2 nights but getting everyone's ideas will certainly help you with an itinerary. Hope you enjoy Boston...!

Do you mean the Hyatt Harborside? I don't believe there's a Marriott at the airport unless something has changed in the last month. But in either case be sure to ask for a room overlooking the harbor toward Boston. You'll have a terrific view of the skyline - especially at night. Also take the water taxi over to the Boston Harborside Hotel. That'll put you within walking distance of Quincy Market, the Aquarium and the North End.
Top ten summer things
1. Harbor cruise
2. Free concert on the Esplanade
3. Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum
4. Museum of Fine Arts
5. Red Sox game/tour of Fenway Park
6. Sailing on the Charles River
7. Walk around Beacon Hill
8. Walk around Newbury St.
9. Swan Boats in the Public Garden
10. Eat dinner in the North End.
