Boothbay Harbor Places to stay

Looking for a nice, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced room in or around BoothBay Harbor. Will be a stop over for one night.

I am sending you a link to a place called Howard House Lodge. I stayed there a few years back and at that time, it was a lower cost accomodation. It is on the rustic side but very clean and certainly sufficient. The disadvantage is that it is about 1/2 mile from the downtown. I though found parking downtown without too much problem when I wanted to shop and go out for dinner.

Clarkgriswold. You have answered me before and I will certainly check into the Welchhouse inn. You must live in Maine or traveled it alot. We are in Bethel for 5 days and then onto Bar harbor for one night and onto Boothbay before flying out of Portland the next day. Cramming alot into those 7 days and plan to take US 1 for a scenic route when traveling down the coast. Hoping that Boothbay will be a nice place to stay and close enough to Portland Intl. Thanks

check out the Maine Innkeepers Association website at maineinns.com. Has lodging info for whole state, with links to properties. Just click on town or area you are interested in.
