cmcfong, my favorite is Elijah's, but I have to admit that there's probably many restaurants there that I haven't had the pleasure of dining in yet. Several friends also cite Elijah's as their fave....... Two other really good choices in the area are Bridge Tender and the wonderful Blue Water Grill, both at Wrightsville Beach, both right on the water!

Thanks,Bonniebroad. I love Elijah's and the Bridgetender as well. Will definitely try the Blue Water on this trip. I appreciate the help.

Favorite for what?

Breakfast at Causeway Cafe.
View, ambiance, and hush puppies at Oceanic (W'ville Beach).
Upscale dinner at Deluxe or Harvest Moon (W'ville).

cfc, I, too, will make a note of your restaurant recommendations. Haven't been to any of the places you mention, but will put them on my "future visits" list! I love the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area........

Just a short followup. The two major new finds for us were Port Land Grille and Deborah's. Both are in the Lumina Station complex on the lower level. Very good!

Soundside up at Topsail Island has been bought by new owners and one report I've received is that it is up to its former glory.
