Boise to Phoenix

We will be driving from Boise to Phoenix the end of September. We don't have much extra time to play tourist, but would like to perhaps have pretty scenery to look at and perhaps go to a park or two for a short visit. Seeking advice. We will be in a small motorhome (class B). Thanks in advance.

Favorite spots off of I-15

Assuming you want to stay pretty close to I-15, and not knowing what your interests are, here are some ideas to look into while passing through Utah:
  • Ogden Nature Center
  • Hill Aerospace Museum
  • Thanksgiving Point
  • Springville Museum of Art
  • Young Living Lavender Farm
  • Meadow Hot Springs
  • The Creamery in Beaver, UT
  • Kolob Canyons in Zion Natl Park
  • Red Reef Trail, Red Cliffs (near Leeds,UT)

There are plenty more, but these are a few that’ll get you started. I’d recommend the main section of Zion too, but that’ll take you a few extra hours out of the way - if you have time, definitely visit Zion though. The other national parks are probably too far out of the way for you.
