We saw it in Cleveland last year. Initially I was very impressed and fascinated to see our inner workings, especially the capillary model of the whole body. It kind of makes you take your body more seriously. I overheard many professional people at the exhibition having some very technical conversations. In talking about it with friends afterward, I was swayed more to the side of those who thought it was wrong and disrespectful to display bodies as art.

I thought it was worth seeing. My kids 7 & 13 were more facinated than grossed out. I think every smoker should have to look at the smoker's lungs versus the non smoker.

I don't see how ignorance can be classified as dignity. Perhaps the more we know about our bodies the better we will take care of them. I imagine this exhibit has encouraged more than a few kids to go into medicine. The anti-science movement is starting to get a little scary. I can't wait to TRAVEL to a nearby city to see the exhibit.
