NYC discounted theater , museum, and attraction ticket

I thought I'd pass along some info on limited time discounts available to NYC visitors. Most of these deals are valid January 7-13, but each offer is different. Some are only good for a specific day or two, and some are actually good for later dates,
Most of the offers are "buy one get one free" for theater tickets.
concerts, dance performances and museums. So if you happen to be braving the expected cold weather coming up here next week, you might save some money! http://artsandleisureweek.com/

By the way, there are deals for museums and performances across the US, so check your state too.

Janie,

Thanks! Looks like we might be able to take in another show with the 2for1 deal! (and hopefully the weather will be a bit warmer!)

As a follow up...thanks to Janie we're headed to see The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for half price (and the show closes at the end of Jan) in addition to our full price Wicked tix. We looked at seeing Hairspray but they were locked in with needing to purchase an even number of tix...we only needed 3 and Spelling Bee allowed us to purchase the odd number and get the discount on all.

Glad it worked out for you, suzski. There are a couple of shows and museums that I might go to also.

I wish they had an edit feature at Fodor's!
I meant for the title to say "NYC...ticketS"--now it looks like I'm talking about one of those combination tickets that cover many sites, the ones that often aren't really that good a deal.
