Let me begin by saying that we are not very familiar with Florida. I've read alot about Captiva on this board but wonder what the difference is between it and Boca Grande. We are planning a five day get away in April. Does Boca Grande have wonderful beaches to walk, shelling, and water activities, such as fishing, boating,kayaking available? Or is that type of activity more typical in Captiva?Is anyone familiar with the Gasparilla Inn in Boca Grande? It looks like a lovely property but I can't determine what activities they offer. We like to be active during the day and relax in the evening with cocktails and a nice dinner. Your helpful comments will be greatly appreciated.
