Hi. We want to stay on the Strip but do not want to spend a lot. We think we have narrowed it down to these 2 choices, does anyone have any advice? We are also open to other choices. Thanks!

Harrah's, Harrah's, HARRAH'S!!

The Boardwalk is pretty run-down and dismal. Harrah's isn't the chic-est or most trendy, but of these two it's by far the better choice.

Boardwalk was seedy. They had lack of hot water for showers when I was there about 3 years ago. Do a priceline bid for strip only location and you'll will do much better than either of these.

How did you go about narrowing it down? If it is strictly price on the strip, make sure you went to the hotels web sites directly or called directly.

I agree with the previous posters, definately go for Harrahs. What is the cost that you are being quoted at these places? Weekend?

Here's a link to the CheapoVegas.com score card. I've walked past the Boardwalk so their "shabby" rating doesn't surprise me.

Definitely Harrah's!
Check out the Barbary Coast-- you may be able to get a great deal there. It's very clean.
