Blowing Rock Accommodations!!

Please help! I've done a lot of research and I am looking for a place to stay in Blowing Rock for two nights. Is there any place with a woodsy, quiet location? There are so many places to choose from but most of them sound like they are in town, which could be noisy. I didn't want to spend over $150 a night if that is possible. If there is nothing with that kind of location then does anyone know anything about the Village Inn in Blowing Rock?

You might look into Chetola. "Town" in Blowing Rock will not be noisy!! It is only a couple of streets.

Then I repeat, it is a tiny town. Many vacation homes--as in "second homes", who don't like noise either. ;o)

I agree that any of the small inns along Main Street should not be considered a "noisy" location. It's a touristy area, but as said above, very small.

For something similar to Chetola but even more woodsy and quiet, try:

It's a short drive away from downtown Blowing Rock, but it's a pretty drive and there's a great restaurant, the Gamekeeper, across the street. Not sure if $150 a night works there though.

I always use vrbo.com & stay 'out of town'. You can certainly find a small cottage very near, well w/in your price range.

Try Gideon Ridge Inn; we also stayed at Mast Farm Inn in Valle Crucis; found it very quiet in our third floor room (not facing main road); there also also some cottages set back from the road.

The Mast Farm will not come close to the OPs budget unless they have either slashed prices or there is some deal going.

I'll check out vrbo and the other suggestions everyone made. I'm sure I'll find something in my price range. Thanks, everyone!

I know this is an old post but when we stayed at Mast Farm Inn, we were able to book 1 night & get 1 night free using the coupon from I Love Inns; just thought I'd mention that because the avg price of the room was < $150/night for 2 nights.
