I'm from Birmingham AL and I prefer Johnny Ray's bbq. I usually order chopped pork - my husband likes ribs and Johnny Ray's is his pick for those as well. They have wonderful pies - my favorite is the banana but the chocolate is great too.
We prefer JR to Jim & Nicks or Full Moon. My husband thinks their ribs are better than Dreamlands.

We're going there next week and a friend has recommended "Little Savannah" (I know - wrong state!) and just wondered if anyone has tried it out?

Then we want to do some sightseeing for a few days, but I guess I better ask about that in a new thread!

Not familiar with Little Savannah. I recommended one of my favorites- Chez Lulu- on your other post.
