Bike Volcano

Does anyone know anything about these tours?

http://www.bikevolcano.com/

They're a pretty new company, and I haven't seen any reviews of them online, but it looks like fun!

Thanks -

I've seen a lot of posts about biking Haleakala, but I haven't seen anything about Kilauea. Would the same warnings apply on Kilauea?

I don't think the road is as steep as it is on Haleakala and probably less car traffic-unless the lava starts flowing in the park again. I think the same warnings would apply. Sounds like fun!

right now, I doubt that you can bike near the volcano due to toxic vog.

Thanks, everyone, for your thoughts. We're going in a couple of weeks, and we'll figure out then which way we'll choose to see the volcano.

It just seemed interesting to me that bike tours of Kilauea don't seem to be common. I was wondering if there was a reason for this. If we do end up taking this tour, I'll be sure to post about it. I've used these boards so much, and I feel badly that I haven't shared my experiences yet!
