Bijoux Terner $10 stores

Can anyone shed some light on the $10 Bijoux Terner stores? I had never heard of them until I saw one mentioned in the list of shops in the hotel I will be staying in .

I picked up a fun, inexpensive little clutch purse for my sister at the one at Treasure Island in Las Vegas. They just have scarves, purses, belts and other inexpensive accessories.

Everything's $10 (or less), mostly flashy accessories: hats, jewelry, handbags, sandals, all kinds of things. Several in the Vegas hotel/casino shopping areas; they're lots of fun to browse (and great if you have dire need of a hat or evening bag).

Thanks, they sound like fun stores to browse in while the rest of my group lose their money at the slot machines.
And maybe a good place to pick up some Christmas gifts for the teenage girls in the family.

Are they like an expensive $1 store?

These stores are great. Great quality. Last year we came upon 2 while in Vegas, on at Balleys and one at Rio. I bought 2 purses there and both have held up excellent and then for the price, they are awesome. Each store had different selection. Can anyone tell me where else in Vegas they are.

I was just in Vegas 11/07. The Bijoux Terner $10 stores are in most casinos on their shopping floors. I first saw one in Excalibur and then TI. They have great accessories for fall/winter or spring. Lots of bead costume jewelry and handbags great for dressing up.

I have to disagree with the poster who said the products were "great quality." During a recent trip to Las Vegas, my mother was delighted with the store in our hotel, the Monte Carlo, and bought a large necklace with clunky beads. It broke when she was just taking the tags off; luckily, it was returned without a problem. I bought a little clutch bag with a clasp that has never worked quite right.

It is a fun store, though, colorful and with appealing items, perfect prices for souvenirs or gifts. Just be aware that some of the merchandise is not always high quality.

they are in a lot of airports as well. I know Orlando has one and Vegas. I wouldn't say they are GREAT quality, but for $10 bucks you can get a watch that works, a great little travel kit for the kids, some pretty large shawls/scarfs that are great for covering up - in all sorts of colors...a large tote bag. I have given the scarves as gifts and no one knew any better.

Be careful - some of the things have a distinct odor...that cheap rayon/pretend silk kind of odor...
