(Big Island, Hawaii) Tom Barefoot - too good to be true?

I am planning our activities while in Hawaii, and we want to do a Helicopter tour. From the boards, it sounds like Blue Hawaiian is the way to go. However, the tour via Tom Barefoot's website is almost a full $100 cheaper than directly through Blue Hawaiian. Does anyone have experience booking through Tom's? This just seems too good to be true... Many thanks!

I've used Tom Barefoot's services before. Be sure that you are comparing apples to apples though.

Another satisfied Tom Barefoot customer, used them for discount activities on Maui.

The Tom Barefoot company is for real. I used them to buy an activity on Oahu earlier this month (08/08.) Everything went smoothly.

As another poster said, be sure the activity you're looking at is the same on both sites.

I've also used Tom Barefoot to book activities on Maui - received discounts that were not available directly from the activity company.

We took the Blue Hawaiian "Big Island Spectacular" and it was absolutely amazing! I was hesitant to book before we got here to make sure that I wasn't "overbooking" my family, but we stopped by the blue hawaiian office after we landed, and were able to negotiate a reasonable discount (it was still extremely expensive, but worth it)
