Big Island Advice for Three Generation Trip! (Age 7-75)

Hello! My extended family will be traveling to the Big Island in early April of this year. We have three generations that will be going! Five kids (age 7-14) and seven adults 2 of whom are >70. We have a luaua booked and night snorkeling with the manta rays. We will be there for a week and we are definitely OK splitting up for some excursions, but also looking for a few ideas that everyone can enjoy together. We're stay at the Mauna Beach Hotel and will have 2 cars for the 12 of us.

Grandparents are not in a position to do any true adventure activities or true hiking, but can certainly walk around a fair amount (on stable ground!). Perhaps a boat ride or if there are volcano / crater tours that are mostly car based? Any good restaurants that are likely to be able to accommodate our large group ? Any coffee tours that the kids would enjoy as well (or is that one better saved to ship the adults out to on their own?)

Realizing we need to get everything booked ASAP as we're going high season and this came together very recently. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!
