Best Western Ambassador or Super 8 Times Square??

Well, I have spent the last few hours browsing through the recommendations on hotels and am still stumped!!
I have reservations at both the Super 8 Times Square and the Best Western Ambassador. I am going for a weekend during the end of June and will be seeing two Broadway shows each night...I don't need anything fancy, but clean, cheap, free breakfast and central!!
If you have experience with either of these or could recommend one over the other (they are within a few dollars of each other), I would appreciate your feedback!

There were a few favorable comments on the Super 8 recently. Do a search and you can read what was said. You wrote in your note you "will be seeing two Broadway shows each night.". You can't see two shows a night. On a Saturday you can see a show in the afternoon and one in the evening.

Sorry - I just wrote it backwards...that should read, one show each night (two shows/nights total!).

Good catch -

BW Ambassador. BWs are always dependable, Super 8s are not.BWA is smaller and looks/sounds nicer.

Stayed at Super 8 twice. Clean, cheap, and convenient to Broadway theaters.
Look at reviews on tripadvisor.com.
Good Luck!!

I stayed at the BW a couple of years ago. It's real basic -- clean, small rooms that get the job done. The staff was helpful and polite.

One thing: I'm pretty sure when I stayed there the breakfast was not free. Though, as I said, that was a couple of years ago, and things may have changed.
