The bottom line is "Do you want room service and shops, or not?"
Next questions is do you want to do dishes and cook?
If your answer to first question is yes, get a hotel.
If your answer to 2nd question is no, get a hotel.
I love condos, but with all those great restaurants waiting for you to try local cuisine, why cook and clean?
Let them serve you on your deck.
Just get a big room.
Condos are great for families. If you're not on a budget, get a room at a fun resort and eat out!
And pay for the best view possible, or upgrade at the hotel. It's worth every dollar for oceanfront sunset view. Order a Mai-Tai and pou=pous and relax on your lanai!
That's my advice!
