Best Spot

i will be traveling to Miami in late december, eraly january. i will be having some friends coming over with me. Which location do you consider to be the more interesting? We will be together for a day or two, what do you suggest we could do there? I have considered as possible locations : Coconut Grove and Key Biscayne. We are 20 year old.

What kind of people are you? If you are into the whirling models and flashy personalities at expensive discos and bars (and if you have ID's proving you're 21) then it's South Beach. (My niece in college in Miami tells me it isn't worth going to South Beach if you're not 21 as you can't get in anywhere). If you're more of a sports bar and beer or margarita crowd, then it's Coconut Grove. If you're retired (hard to imagine at 20) or a "yuppie" then Key Biscayne.

Thanks to everyone. I am actually considering doing Coconut grove early in the afternoon and then going to South Beach in the evening, just for a walk. Just to know? I have heard there is a lot of weird gay people in SoBe. Is it true? This is why I didn't cosnidered going there on first place.
