Be aware...Phoenix, Scottsdale. Tuscon are crowded with Spring Training fans in Feb,,March and April..I know I go there very year
Have you considered Corpus Christi,TX ?
I tried South Padre Island last years...really crowded, although scenery great...
This is totally a personal opinion with input from many friends who still have relatives in Mexico..mainland Mexico is Not the place to go..lots of internal strife.
