Best place for lunch halfway between NYC and Ithaca?

We're going toan event at Ithaca College this weekend. Can anyone recommend a wonderful lunch place halfway between New York city area ( actually Westchester County) and Ithaca? Thanks so much!

I looked at the map earlier today and think the Catskill area around Liberty is the midway point, for anyone else reading this.

OMG, the Roscoe Diner (it's in Roscoe, NY, as opposed to being "Roscoe's Diner") -- that's where we used to stop to eat on the way back to school! The best seeded roll & butter anywhere ever (of course, that was, ahem, quite a few years ago)

Azzure, you don't go through Scranton on the way from NYC to Ithaca.

Well, I did...I-80 west to the 380 to the 81. My niece frequently travels from Ithaca to NYC and back and says that's the best way...and Scranton is about midway between the two cities. Google directions also say to go this way.

Sorry, I should have looked at googlemaps first. I don't think Interstate 380 connector existed when I regularly traveled that route.
