Best lobster in Bar Harbor area?

I will be visiting Bar Harbor next week, and I've read the messages from around year ago recommending Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound and Beals. Wondered if those recommendations still hold true. Any updated recommendations? Thank you!!

You will get tons of suggestions.

An additional suggestion would be to go to the Lobster Museum & Hatchery ..just on the outskirts of town. It was very informative. My wife and I were glad we went.

I was in Bar Harbor two years ago, and I remember that there was a pound right along the docks in Bar Harbor that had very fresh and delicious lobster. Literally right out of the ocean. It's right down by the docks, you can't miss it. It's not a restaurant or anything, but there are picnic tables right outside.

Was there last month and being a lobster lover, I believe you can't get a bad lobster meal anywhere! Beals is a tradition, practically see them unload them right there! We ate in a small unknown place which was good. You won't go wrong on lobster no matter where you choose. Lots of lobster pounds all around and wish I had tried one. Let us know where you eat!

The best lobster is ALWAYS from the place with picnic tables and paper plates.

If they put beer in the steaming water, all the better!
