Best comedy show in vegas?

What's the best comedy show in Vegas? I'd prefer to stay on the strip, but would consider going off for some great laughs.
Thanks!

Improv at Harrah's is a good show, and you can usually get the tickets half-price at the discount outlets.

I saw Carlin last time I was there, and I was not impressed. He used a LOT of profanity, and I really didn;t find him funny...

Yes, George Carlin always uses a LOT of profanity .. many of the comedy headliners use bad language, it seems to be the trend for some time now-since Lenny Bruce, I hear

Half-price tickets are sold at TIX4TONIGHT or something like that-- they are in the strip mall connected to the Harley Davidson Cafe, immediately south of the Aladdin hotel.

We had a great time at the Tropicana--Comedy Stop at the Trop or something like that. It was I think $20, and that included 2 drinks. It's for up-and-coming comedians so no big headliners, but we laughed our *****s off!

Another half-price ticket company is the one in the Coke bottle near MGM. There's also a 2-for-1 coupon in the funnooks that most cabs have for free.

The Mac King afternoon show at Harrah's is hilarious. Two-for-one tickets are distributed by a "show girl" near the Carousel Bar--visible from the street.
